Dr Uri Nitzan is a senior psychiatrist and the director of the depression and crisis intervention Ward at the Shalvata Mental health Center, a faculty member in the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University, and a graduate of the psychoanalytic psychotherapy school at Tel-Aviv University.
Dr Nitzan graduated the Hebrew University medical school, completed his residency at the Shalvata Mental Health Center in Hod-Hashraon, and was elected to participate in the residents "Stars" program at Kupat cholim Clalit. Later, he spent time at the Mood-Disorders section and Brain Stimulation Unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Boltimore.
